I like productive days. It gives me the peace of mind when I go to bed at night that the most has been done. I think the finding comes as no surprise, and should be plain common sense (and it is!). But what is interesting to me is what I define doing as being productive. Apparently the bar isn't set very high, and I think that that is the truth in most cases! I always think that a productive day is when the most work is done, and I know that I don't have to rush tomorrow, but I now realise that its so much more than just that. I wish I knew the perfect combination to a productive day, but I guess there are just endless possible combinations.
I read an article today that was quite shocking, "AMERICAN evangelical pastor Terry Jones, 58, says he plans to memorialise the Sept 11 attacks with a bonfire of Qurans. The former hotel manager insists that he has a right to burn Islam's sacred book as 'it's full of lies'. Last year the pastor of 50 members posted a sign at his church declaring 'Islam is the devil'."
It's sad to see Christians take revenge into their own hands like that.
"If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay,"says the Lord. On the contrary: "If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head." Romans 12:18-20.
